The City's vision statment is the collective understanding of the ideal City of Fayetteville in 10 years. It reflects the standard of living we hope to achieve through our actions today. What is your vision for the City of Fayetteville and what actions need to be taken today?

The City of Fayetteville is a great place to live with a choice of desirable, safe neighborhoods, a regional shopping destination, leisure opportunities for all and beauty by design.

Our City has a vibrant downtown and major corridors, the Cape Fear River to enjoy, diverse cultures with a rich heritage, a strong local economy and beneficial military presence.

Our City has unity of purpose and partners with engaged residents who have confidence in their local government.

This creates a sustainable community with opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.

An amusement park for people would have a place to take their families would be nice also a water slide park for the entire family. There should be more men and women of faith coming together as one serving one universal being.

This will take a massive effort with citizen co-operation to succeed. The first few years will likely show limit successes, persistence in spite of difficulty will be key to success.

Not to treat the children as criminals but to get through to them that running around a night is not in their best interest. 1. Curfew begins during the hours of darkness, dusk to dawn 2. Everyone under 18 will be under curfew (unless they have a verifiable purpose) 3. All violators must be checked out by qualified medical personnel to identify medical issues like underage alcohol consumption, drug abuse, or neglect, ect. 4. Fines should be assessed.

Might I suggest utilizing a high school gymnasium as a holding area. I wonder what kind of modern technology is available to use to aid in curfew enforcement?

SERVICE ROADS WOULD ELIMINATE SO MANY STOP LIGHTS (YES, STOP LIGHTS), SINCE WE CANNOT AFFORD OVERPASSES IN CROWDED AREAS SUCH AS THE MALL AREA, WHICH WAS POOR PLANNING….SERVICE/ACCESS ROADS SHOULD HAVE BEEN REQUIRED OF THE DEVELOPER AT THE PLANNING STAGE, WHICH WOULD HAVE ELIMINATED SOME TRAFFIC LIGHTS. INSTALL CAMERAS IN CRIME AREAS, NOT TO SLOW TRAFFIC AT STOP LIGHTS!!!

OF COURSE, THE MALL AREA IS NOT THE ONLY PLACE WHERE SERVICE/ACCESS ROADS ARE NEEDED.

ALSO, STOP ALLOWING NEW CONSTRUCTION TOO CLOSE TO THE CURB, THUS NOT ALLOWING STREET WIDENING WHEN GROWTH OCCURS. LOOK AT SKIBO ROAD….401 BYPASS? WHAT A JOKE!!!
